Situation:
You
want to put video on your website. But you don't want
to install a lot of computer equipment and you don't want to
spend a lot of money on this project.
Solution:
The XCam2 is
a small, 2.4GHz, color camera that you can put into almost any
room. The best thing about this Cam...it's wireless!
When I say wireless, I mean there is no wire from the camera to the
computer. So, for example, you put the XCam2 in a room and
plug it into an electrical outlet. Then, hook the receiver's
audio and video (there is a microphone as well) into the computer
with audio and video cable. The computer will need a sound
card, a video capture card, and preferably a high-speed Internet
connection. The audio cable from the receiver goes into the
Mic or Input jack on the sound card. The video cable goes into
the video capture card. Make sure the receiver is also plugged
into the wall electrical outlet. You now have video from one
location to your computer without having to run lots of wire at a
pretty low price. So, let's review what you need:
